![]() Honeywell House is a unique research and demonstrations facility in a fully furnished , contemporary, 2,080 square foot house. At Honeywell , we've found that you can't test home automation, system integration, or comfort control systems in a laboratory. Our products must be installed in real homes, where people can use them and engineers can learn from the results. Inside this living laboratory, Honeywell engineers develop new generations of control systems and services that provide comfort, convenience, safety, and security in the home while saving money and protecting the environment through greater energy efficiency. Some of the research at the Honeywell House concentrates on improved heating, cooling, ventilating, and air quality. Some focuses on whole house control concepts that provide evolutionary steps toward home automation. And still other research explores how Honeywell products and systems can work together with products made by our alliance partners.
